New Radio Mandatory Zone at Vodochody!

We are excited to announce another update at PRAGUE/Vodochody Airport. Effective March 19, 2026, we are establishing a new Radio Mandatory Zone (RMZ) within FIR Prague, specifically LKRMZ2 VODOCHODY. This area will be active whenever the standard CTR/TMA VODOCHODY is deactivated.

During this time, Traffic Information and AFIS are not provided; communication is conducted strictly “air-to-air” on frequency 133.080 MHz (VODOCHODY TOWER). You can easily verify the current status of the airspace via the RADIM information beacon on frequency 123.030 MHz.

To enter the zone, pilots must tune the tower frequency and report their position, altitude and intended flight activity. Please note that landing outside operational hours requires our prior consent, and we kindly ask you to observe a minimum height of 150 m / 500 ft AGL.

We believe this update will contribute to flight safety and smooth operations. We wish you safe flights!
