Aviation Industry Day – June 19, 2024

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, we had the honor of hosting Aviation Industry Day, which brought leading Czech manufacturers and representatives of the defense and aerospace sectors to our airport.

Several prominent companies from the aerospace and defense industries took part in the event, presenting their latest technologies and production capabilities.

Aircraft that landed at our airport included:

• L 410 NG: a modernized version of the legendary transport aircraft manufactured by Aircraft Industries.

• EV-55: a versatile turboprop aircraft from Evektor, ideal for transporting passengers and cargo under demanding conditions.

• L-39NG: and of course, newly manufactured aircraft from our own Aero Vodochody production line.

In addition to the aircraft, visitors could see company product displays, technological solutions, and engage in discussions about the future of the domestic aerospace industry. There were also opportunities to view aircraft up close and for informal networking among industry professionals.

The event confirmed that our airport is an ideal platform for hosting events that connect industry and innovation.
